Ted Wong was my only Sifu in Bruce Lee's art of Jeet Kune Do and I have the distinction of being undoubtably his worst student.
More importantly, Ted and I were good friends for a period extending over 15-years. Many was the night that Ted and Herb Jackson would come to my house to talk about Bruce Lee and his art of Jeet Kune Do until the wee hours of the morning (even though Herb was a metal worker who had to be at work at 6 am the next day!)
Ted was a great man who sadly passed away in 2010 and a man who I miss speaking with on a regular basis. These photos were from a shoot we did in the mid 1990s for a magazine article on "The Lead Punch" which, together with an emphasis on Footwork, were REALLY big parts of the art in Ted's opinion.
